Born and raised in Edmonton, Stacey is a multiple Emmy nominated Choreographer, Director and Dancer, best known for her passionate work on the global television hit, “So You Think You Can Dance” both in the U.S. and Canada. Stacey represented her country at the Adeline Genee Awards in London, danced with Ballet British Columbia and for the NBA’s “Grizzlies Extreme Dance Team”. After moving to New York to pursue her career, Stacey worked with legendary musical artist such as Celine Dion, Bette Midler, Michael Buble and Justin Timberlake. She was a member of Mia Michaels’ cutting edge dance company R.A.W., performed with Parsons Dance Project in Seoul, Korea and was original cast of Peter Chu’s “ChuThis” New Works evening. Stacey has performed “Carmen” with the Houston Grand Opera and was the assistant Choreographer for the Broadway show “A Few Good Men Dancin’”. In 2002, Stacey Moved to Las Vegas where she was an original cast member for the entire five year run of Celine Dion’s “A New Day” at Caesars Palace. Other performances with Celine include the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, the 2004 “World Music Awards”, “Larry King Live” and CNN’s “New Years Countdown Live”. Stacey is currently on faculty of NUVO and JUMP Dance Conventions and continues to teach master classes around the world. She recently choreographed Christina Perri’s chart topping hit “Jar of Hearts” video and is choreographing full length works for the Cincinnati Ballet and Los Angeles Ballet 2012 season. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Dizzy Feet Foundation. Stacey is excited to be teaching at the Edge and sharing her passion for all who love the art of dance.
