Originally from Edmonton, Canada, Christina has trained and performed extensively throughout North America and Europe, as well as South America and Asia.

Christina was destined to dance, and at the age of twelve began her professional training at The National Ballet School of Canada and subsequently, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Following a serious ankle injury, she redirected her focus from classical ballet to contemporary dance, and moved to New York City to attend the renowned Juilliard School, earning her BFA in Dance in 2005. Christina has been dancing professionally ever since, touring the world with companies that include Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, BODYTRAFFIC (Los Angeles) and Koresh Dance Company (Philadelphia). Christina has also worked commercially and has performed in special events for companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, L'Oreal, Eye Opener Productions and Radio Canada.

Alongside her love of performing, Christina naturally gravitated towards teaching. She is on Dance Faculty at Loyola Marymount University, Windward Private School, Marat Daukayev School of Ballet and The Gabriella Foundation. Christina also teaches master classes nationally and has been on guest faculty for University of Southern California, Regional Dance America, Francisco Gella Dance Works, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Long Beach Ballet and Greater Washington Dance Center.

Christina’s colleagues describe her as personable, outgoing, loyal and driven. It is important to Christina to give back and she feels privileged to pass on the incredible gift of movement to her students, with the goal of enhancing their lives as much as it has hers!
